Lobster Tails Recipe – best ever!

Lobster Tails Recipe - best ever!

There’s something undeniably special about lobster. It’s the kind of dish that instantly transforms an ordinary evening into an occasion — the flicker of candlelight, the clink of glasses, the quiet excitement of a meal that feels indulgent yet surprisingly simple.

These garlic herb lobster tails were born from that exact mood — a desire for something elegant, but without the fuss of a complicated kitchen production. Just butter slowly melting into fresh garlic, herbs releasing their aroma, and the gentle sizzle under a hot broiler.

What makes this recipe truly magical is its balance: rich yet bright, luxurious yet effortless. In less than ten minutes, the lobster turns tender and succulent, soaking up layers of buttery, herby flavor. It’s the kind of dish that feels restaurant-worthy, but happens right in your own kitchen.

Perfect for date nights, celebrations, or simply those moments when you decide that dinner should feel a little extraordinary.

Ingredients

1x (serves ~2)

  • 4 lobster tails
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, minced
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped

2x

  • 8 lobster tails
  • ½ cup butter
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons each: thyme, rosemary, parsley

3x

  • 12 lobster tails
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 9 garlic cloves
  • 1½ teaspoons paprika
  • 3 teaspoons each: thyme, rosemary, parsley

Method

  1. Heat the oven
Set your oven to broil (or about 500°F / 260°C).
  2. Prepare the lobster tails
With kitchen shears, cut along the top shell lengthwise. Gently separate the meat from the shell and lift it so it rests on top. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Arrange on a baking sheet.
  3. Make the butter mixture
Stir together the melted butter, garlic, paprika, thyme, rosemary, and parsley until well combined.
  4. Season the tails
Spoon or brush the butter mixture evenly over the exposed lobster meat.
  5. Broil
Cook for roughly 8–10 minutes, until the meat turns opaque and the surface develops a light golden color.
  6. Serve
Enjoy immediately. Extra melted butter on the side is always a good idea.
