Oreo Fantasy Cake – A Creamy Chocolate Dessert Everyone Loves

Some desserts are simply good, while others create a real wow effect. Oreo Fantasy cake definitely belongs to the second group. It is a rich and visually impressive dessert that combines chocolate flavors with the popular Oreo cookie, creating a treat that is both creamy and irresistible.

Oreo Fantasy cake

The inspiration for this cake comes from modern layered desserts often seen in American-style baking. However, its ingredients are simple and easy to find. The combination of soft cocoa sponge, two different chocolate creams and whipped topping results in a cake with a smooth texture and balanced sweetness.

One of the highlights of this dessert is the addition of crushed Oreo cookies between the layers. They introduce a light crunch and a recognizable flavor that pairs perfectly with both dark and white chocolate creams. Because of that contrast, every slice has a pleasant mix of soft and slightly crunchy textures.

Another advantage of Oreo Fantasy cake is that it looks impressive without requiring complicated baking techniques. Whether you are preparing a dessert for a birthday celebration, a family gathering or simply want something special for the weekend, this cake is a great choice.

Second Chocolate Cream

  • 300 ml milk
  • 60 g custard powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 300 g white chocolate
  • 200 ml whipping cream

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 450 g whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1 – Prepare the sponge cake

Begin by beating the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

In another bowl, mix the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture becomes light and creamy. Then add the oil and lukewarm water and stir briefly.

Next, combine the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder, and gradually mix them into the batter.

Finally, gently fold the beaten egg whites into the mixture.

Pour the batter into a 26 cm cake pan lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20–25 minutes. Check the sponge with a toothpick to ensure it is baked through.

Step 2 – Prepare the dark chocolate cream

In a bowl, mix the custard powder with sugar and a small amount of milk until smooth.

Heat the remaining milk until it begins to boil, then add the prepared custard mixture. Cook over low heat while stirring until the cream thickens.

While the cream is still hot, add the chopped dark chocolate and stir until it melts completely.

Allow the mixture to cool, then combine it with whipped sweet cream.

Step 3 – Prepare the white chocolate cream

Follow the same procedure as for the first cream, but replace the dark chocolate with white chocolate.

Step 4 – Assemble the cake

Place the cooled sponge cake onto a serving base.

Spread the dark chocolate cream evenly over the sponge. Then sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies across the surface.

Next, add the white chocolate cream as the second layer.

Finally, cover the entire cake with whipped cream.

Decoration

Decorate the cake as desired. You can add extra Oreo cookies, chocolate glaze or additional whipped cream on top to make it look even more attractive.
